To celebrate the glorious twenty years of the Pulsar brand in India, Bajaj Auto has teased a brand new quarter-litre Pulsar 250F on its social media handles. The upcoming all-new Pulsar 250F will be officially unveiled in India on October 28, 2021. Although the motorcycle in the teaser appears to be a semi-faired motorcycle that might be called the Pulsar 250F, there also might be a naked, Pulsar NS250.
In terms of exteriors, the new Pulsar will get an all-LED projector headlamp with LED DRLs, an LED taillamp and even LED turn indicators. There will be fairing-mounted rearview mirrors along with split seats, raised clip-on handlebars, side-mounted twin-barrel exhaust canister, rear tyre hugger, and telescopic front forks. Expect the bike to get a semi-digital instrument cluster.
It is expected that Pulsar NS250 and 250F will get an entirely new 249cc engine or a rebored version of the current Pulsar 220F. The new engine could churn out 24 bhp of max power and 20 Nm of peak torque. It will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Bajaj is expected to equip the new Pulsar 250 with advanced tech such as variable valve actuation (VVA) and assist and slipper clutch. The bikes could get Bluetooth-based connectivity features. Similarly, braking duties will be performed by disc brakes at both ends. Dual-channel ABS will be offered as standard.
